Diane Williams
CILEX Lawyer
Residential Conveyancing
A career in law wasn’t something that occurred to me during my school years. However, I was persuaded to try the profession by my uncle who was a local careers officer and found I enjoyed it immediately.
In my early career I gained experience in most areas of private practice, but also dealt with licensing matters and county court work. It was however conveyancing which I enjoyed and found most fulfilling and this was the area of law in which I decided to specialise.
I have always worked locally and joined Bone & Payne in 1999. I qualified as a legal executive in 2001 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute in 2003.
My hobbies include travel, music, theatre and baking. I also enjoy reading and am a member of the Bone & Payne book club. My other interest is history, and I’m especially interested in local and family history.
