Growing up in Old Colwyn and Abergele, I attended Ysgol y Creuddyn in Penrhyn Bay before studying law at the University of Wales Aberystwyth, where I graduated in 1997. After completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Christleton, I joined Bone & Payne as a trainee solicitor in 1998, and qualified in 2000 becoming a partner in 2013. In 2008 I completed the Notarial Practice Course at the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education and since then I have also practised as a Notary Public.

I am now a non practising Consultant but remain a Notary Public and partner of  North Wales Notaries with Carys Jenkins. Our notarial practice is entirely separate from Bone & Payne.

I am also a fluent Welsh speaker.

Outside of work I have a variety of interests including music, attending the theatre, gardening and woodworking.
