When Ann Williams joined Bone & Payne in 1974, the average UK house cost around £10,000 and computers were still some way off becoming part of everyday office life. More than five decades later, Ann is retiring after a remarkable 52 years with the firm.

During that time, Ann has seen enormous change in the legal profession, from handwritten notes, typewriters and paper files to modern digital systems and email. Throughout it all, shehas remained a steady, friendly and valued presence at Bone & Payne.

Ann is known by colleagues and clients for her kindness, professionalism and calm approach. She is well liked by everyone who works with her and will be missed by us all.
