Carys Jenkins

Partner, Head of Private Client & Notary Public

Wills – Probate & the Administration of Estates – Tax Planning – Trusts –  Court of Protection Matters – Powers of Attorney (including Powers of Attorney for business owners)

Having grown up in Llandudno and attended Ysgol John Bright, I joined Bone & Payne in 2014. I qualified first as a Chartered Legal Executive and then as a Solicitor in September 2017. I became a partner in 2022.

I am a full member of the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and offer specialist advice in relation to Wills, tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, probate and the administration of estates. STEP is a global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

I also specialise in the preparation of Powers of Attorney (including Lasting Powers of Attorney for business owners), care funding and matters before the Court of Protection. I am a full accredited Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers and often act as professional Attorney or Court appointed Deputy. The Association of Lifetime Lawyers is an independent, national organisation of lawyers who provide specialist advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

I am also able to provide Notary Services, having completed the Diploma in Notarial Practice at University College London. I was admitted as a Notary Public in 2021 and am a member of The Notaries Society. My notarial practice North Wales Notaries is entirely separate from Bone & Payne.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking with my dogs in the Snowdonia mountains.
