Carys Jenkins

Partner, Head of Private Client, Notary Public and Panel Deputy

Wills – Probate & the Administration of Estates – Tax Planning – Trusts –  Court of Protection Matters – Powers of Attorney

Having grown up in Llandudno and attended Ysgol John Bright, I joined Bone & Payne in 2014 and became a Partner in 2022.

As Head of the Private Client department, I ensure the team stays ahead of the latest developments in private client and Court of Protection law and take an active role in training and mentoring.

I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (ALL) and offer specialist advice in relation to Wills, Powers of Attorney, tax planning, trusts and estates. I also specialise in Powers of Attorney, care funding, and Court of Protection matters, often acting as a professional Attorney and as a Panel Deputy for vulnerable clients to ensure their affairs are managed with care and integrity.

Alongside being a Solicitor, I am a Notary Public having studied at University College London. My notarial practice North Wales Notaries is entirely separate from Bone & Payne.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my young family and walking with my dogs in the Snowdonia mountains.
