Zoey Smith
Solicitor & Head of Litigation
Having studied Law at Bangor University, I undertook the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Chester and was admitted as a Solicitor in March 2021. I joined Bone and Payne shortly after qualifying having trained at another local litigation firm bringing a wealth of experience in personal injury and general litigation matters.
With over 7 years’ experience dealing with personal injury and clinical negligence matters, I specialise in high value claims and have a keen interest in brain and spinal injuries. I also have a vast knowledge of the MOJ Portal process for claims under £25,000. I regularly represent clients that suffer negligence as a result of poor medical treatment provided by a Hospital Trust or General Practitioner and specialise in dealing with claims such as, delayed or missed diagnosis, deaths and inquests, cancer cases, incorrect treatment and surgical errors.
I also specialise in a variety of family law matters to include all aspects of divorce and separation, cohabitation, resolution of complex financial matters and private law children disputes such as child arrangement orders. I pride myself on my pragmatic and understanding approach.
In my spare time, I am a keen runner and an avid fundraiser for St David`s Hospice. When not running or in the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family watching Liverpool FC.
