Gareth Tierney-Jones Member Llandudno Telephone: 01492 876354
Gareth was born in Colwyn Bay and brought up in Llandudno, attending Ysgol John Bright.  He obtained his degree at Liverpool University and initially trained as a social worker, working for five years as a hospital and area based social worker specialising in elderly clients.
His growing interest in the legal aspects of his work prompted a career change and in October 1993 he qualified as a solicitor
working for the next 6 years in private practice in Newton Abbott in Devon. He became a partner with that firm in 1998. At first he specialised in matrimonial work but gradually moved over to non-contentious areas of law.
Gareth moved back to North Wales to be close to family, and joined Bone & Payne in August 1999. He was made a partner in 2004.
Gareth has extensive experience of residential and commercial conveyancing and of wills and probate. His main specialism, however, is providing a bespoke service to elderly clients, covering not only wills but also mental capacity issues and community care advice. He is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Gareth is married with two children. He is a life-long Spurs fan and a keen swimmer.
