The family law department within Bone and Payne is located at both our Colwyn
Bay and Llandudno offices. Appointments may also be arranged at our Old Colwyn
office if required.

Our solicitors dealing with family law work are members of Resolution (formerly
The Solicitors Family Law Association).
Legal aid work is undertaken at both offices.
We can also provide a service through the medium of the Welsh language.
Our team
The family law department is led by Karen Corry, a solicitor based at the Colwyn
Bay office.
Karen has built up significant expertise in the field of family law since her
admission as a solicitor in 1996.
She conducts a wide variety of matters relating to family law including divorce,
cohabitee disputes, financial issues, residence and contact matters, care
proceedings and domestic abuse.
Karen regularly conducts her own advocacy before the magistrates in the family
proceedings court and before the district judge in the county court. She has
also carried out her own advocacy before the circuit judge in the county court.
In addition to being a member of Resolution (formerly The Solicitors Family Law
Association), Karen is also accredited by Resolution as a specialist family
lawyer, with particular specialism in domestic abuse and private children law.
Karen regularly attends the Conwy Domestic Abuse Forum which brings
practitioners together in addressing domestic abuse within society.
Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2001 Gwyndaf Pari has undertaken a wide
variety of family law cases including divorce, cohabitee disputes, financial
issues, residence and contact matters. Gwyndaf is based at our Llandudno
office.
Gwyndaf is a member of Resolution (formerly The Solicitors Family Law
Association).
He is a fluent Welsh speaker and is able to conduct work through the medium of
Welsh or English.
Gwyndaf is also qualified to present your case in the High court.
Lois Kingsley is a solicitor based at our Llandudno office. Lois gained
experience in family law while working as a legal secretary in a private
practice in York before moving to North Wales and joining Bone & Payne in 2005. Since that date she has continued to gain experience in family
law, initially during her training contract and since qualifying in April 2010
as a solicitor.
Christine Evans, a legal executive, has built up a significant amount of
experience in family law over twenty years. Christine is based at our Colwyn
Bay office.
In June 2003, Christine became a member of the Institute of Legal Executives and
in June 2005, became a fellow specialising in civil and family law. She deals
with all types of family law, including divorce and children matters.
Christine regularly accompanies clients to court with counsel. In addition,
Christine has conducted her own advocacy before the district judge in the
county court.
During 2006/2007 Christine was secretary of the North Wales branch of the
Institute of Legal Executives.
